Meet Stephanie - Summer Internship Spain

Stephanie Rehani
Bachelors of Science in Speech and Hearing Science from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign
Masters of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Marquette University
We are thrilled to announce that Stephanie will be joining PINC for the 8 - Week Internship in Spain this summer! Stephanie is most excited to connect and have adventures with new people and immerse herself in Spain's beautiful culture and language!
Which groups/sorority/organizations are you currently affiliated with?
I am a member of Phi Sigma Sigma, the Women's Fraternity, along with the Illinois Speech Language Hearing Association, and the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
Where do you see yourself 10 years from now
In 10 years, I hope I am doing work I'm proud of, whether it's in the form of my own private practice as a bilingual speech language pathologist, mentoring students, or doing research in the field of bilingual speech language pathology. I hope I am making a small difference in the world with tiny humans. I also hope to be free of student loan debt and living colorfully and authentically with my future husband/partner and children.
What are some of your bucket list items/places?
I would like to drink Colombian coffee in Colombia, get caught in the rain in Seattle, see the Musée d'Orsay in Paris with someone I love, and enjoy a pastry during a quiet morning in Italy.
What is one of your proudest accomplishments to date?
My proudest accomplishment to date is how I have pushed myself to learn Spanish and became a bilingual speech language pathologist. It did not come naturally or quickly, as it evolved over time, experiences, travels, and with the guidance of mentors I was blessed to encounter.
If you could sit and have coffee with one celebrity dead or alive who would it be?
I would sit and have coffee with Gal Gadot. Her performance in Wonder Woman was so empowering and inspiring!
