03 Feb Meet Stephanie - Summer Internship Spain
CUNY New York City College of Technology
Major: Business and Technology of Fashion
PINC International is pleased to welcome Stephanie Guazhima to the Summer 2018 8 - Week Internship program! Stephanie is excited to spend 8 weeks of her Summer in Spain where she will blossom into the kind of person she has always wanted to be! She wants to see what the world has to offer her beyond the New York City skyline. Lastly, Stephanie can’t wait to be surrounded by the many influential individuals in this program!
Which groups/sorority/organization are you currently affiliated with?
At the moment I am not affiliated with any groups or organizations.
Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
In 10 years I see myself as a successful business woman, running my own hair salon. I would be in the process of creating a vibrant and unique hair color line. On top of that, I would be married and expecting baby number 1. It’s a lot but being a mother is also a dream of mine as well.
What are some of your bucket list items/places?
Florida is a place I wanted to travel to for so long; mainly because it has been years since I have seen my family who live there. But who wouldn’t want to visit Disney World as well! I also want to sky dive although heights give me the heebie-jeebies. To add on, traveling throughout Europe and going to One Direction’s reunion concert is a must on my list!
What is one of your proudest accomplishments to date?
The first time I decided to ‘do’ instead of ‘want’ was when I applied to be a backstage volunteer during New York Fashion Week. You can literally ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you how much a scaredy cat I was. Scared of rejection really, but I did it and got accepted! I have never felt so proud of myself in getting out of my comfort zone because it ended up leading to great opportunities! Look at me now, going abroad to SPAIN for 2 months!
If you could sit and have coffee with one celebrity dead or alive who would it be?
I don’t think I can choose just one. I would have to pick 7 as they are all from the K-Pop group BTS! I have recently just started listening to their music, looking at their interviews on YouTube and they are just so humble and funny! Although their English isn’t so fluent, I'd have RM (one of the members) to translate for me. I would most likely challenge them to a dance battle after coffee...lol.
