I am looking forward to learning the language and being immersed in the lifestyle. I am confident that PINC will be the stepping stone that will allow me to succeed in my future career!
What are you most excited about when you think of PINC?
I am excited to connect with a group of passionate and determined women, as well as be able to develop my professional skills. I am very intrigued by the Spanish culture, so I am looking forward to learning the language and being immersed in the lifestyle. I am confident that PINC will be the stepping stone that will allow me to succeed in my future career!
Which groups/sorority/organization are you currently affiliated with?
Currently, I am the President of the local sorority Lambda Zeta Chi at UIC. Lambda Zeta Chi was founded in 2003, and I am so proud to be a part of such an amazing organization that has continued to grow and develop over the years.
Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
I hope to have a successful job in a big city, that I love and enjoy. Right now, I envision myself being a PR specialist or something similar, but I change my mind a lot, so we'll see!
What are some of your bucket list items/places?
I want to travel everywhere, but some of the places I really want to visit are Brazil, France, India, and New Zealand. I also hope to watch the FIFA World Cup live one day.
What is one of your proudest accomplishments to date?
My proudest accomplishment was being able to move to another country alone to attend college. Being able to go through such a big change has helped me grow personally and become more independent. I am also proud to say that I was able to complete 3 internships throughout my academic career.
If you could sit and have coffee with one celebrity dead or alive who would it be?
Shakira, because I think she is a great role model and activist. She is very sincere and is always devoting time and effort to helping children around the world. Plus, I would love to learn her great dance moves!
