14 Dec Meet Krystal- Immersion Summer 2017
Truman State University
Majors: Biology and Psychology
When I think of PINC, I am most excited to have the opportunity to step completely out of my comfort zone and see how I can grow personally and professionally from such an experience. This is the push I needed to discover my potential and start exploring the world. I'm thrilled that this will be my first time traveling abroad, and I cannot wait to make amazing memories in Spain! -Krystal
Which groups/sorority/organization are you currently affiliated with?
I am a member of Tau Lambda Sigma, which is a service and social sorority local only to Truman State. I also serve as an executive director on the Up ‘Til Dawn executive board, which raises money and awareness for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
In 10 years, I hope to find myself successful in a career that I’m passionate about, although I may not be sure what that is yet. I also see myself having a family including a big dog, or two.
What are some of your bucket list items/places?
I want to see the Northern Lights, visit castles across Europe, and go sky diving. I would love to travel to New Zealand, Greece, and Ireland some day, too.
What is one of your proudest accomplishments to date?
My proudest accomplishment to date would have to be getting to serve as the executive director of Up ‘Til Dawn and having the opportunity to visit the hospital. Serving this great cause has been so fulfilling and inspiring.
If you could sit and have coffee with one celebrity dead or alive who would it be?
I would love to have coffee with Emma Watson because she is such a driven and strong role model and I think the conversation would be really eye-opening. I really love coffee so I could just sit there all day and talk about anything and everything.
