03 Feb Meet Lizzie - Summer Internship Spain
Truman State University
Minors: English and Linguistics
PINC International is thrilled to announce that Lizzie will be joining us for our 8 - Week Internship program this summer in Spain! Lizzie can't wait to immerse herself in Spanish culture and develop lifelong friendships with other empowering women!
Which groups/sorority/organization are you currently affiliated with?
I’m a member of Sigma Kappa and just finished my time serving on Truman’s Panhellenic Council.
Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
With a puppy and my high school sweetheart, living in a big(ger) city, doing work I’m passionate about, probably on my way to watch the new movie from the Game of Thrones film series in theaters.
What are some of your bucket list items/places?
I want to do that grape-stompy thing at a vineyard, visit Iceland, go to a culinary school some day when I have money (ideally in France), I’d also love to learn more languages!
What is one of your proudest accomplishments to date?
I just spent the past semester planning and implementing our school’s Panhellenic Recruitment for over 200 young women, something I never thought I would be doing when I started out in college!
If you could sit and have coffee with one celebrity dead or alive who would it be?
Dead—I would visit Emily Dickinson because she never got to see how influential her poetry would become and there’s so much we don’t know about her. Alive—definitely Mindy Kaling and convince her to be my best friend.
